General Purpose: Safely make and deliver a quality product right the first time that meet or exceeds company and customer expectations. Perform as a member of the Operations Team. Perform tasks required to load and unload trucks, stock and maintain the warehouse, and work with production baggers to ensure constant production. Work safely around manufacturing equipment; work safely in handling industrial cleaning chemicals. Perform minor equipment maintenance. Adhere to all GMP, HACCP, safety, regulatory, and plant policies and procedures. Promote safety, maintain a sanitary food environment, and ensure that only the highest quality product is made. Work with facility leadership to engage in professional development in a learning organization. Work day or night shifts, 12-hour shift schedules including weekends and holidays, and overtime as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: *Perform truck inspections on every truck as per the truck inspections policy *Maintain organization, rotation of stock, and neatness of all coolers and warehouse *Check each load for correct box size and labels are placed properly on the product *Check product count for trucks being loaded or unloaded, and if it is not, then adjust the bill *Follow all GMP's and safety regulations *Check bills of lading for accuracy before any product is shipped or received *Input inventories into SAP *Fill in in the cooler or wrapping area when needed *Follow all safety requirements and wear proper PPE *Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. Minimum Requirements: Education and Experience *High School Diploma or GED required *Forklift experience preferred *Certification and/or License - Licensed tow motor operator and Electric Pallet Jack certification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities *Able to use simple writing, adding, subtracting, and multiplication *Able to carry out instructions *Able to use and understand SAP *Must be able to read, write and speak English
