This position can be located in any of our regions, and can be a work-from-home remote opportunity.
SUMMARY
The Account Manager - Inside Sales is responsible for providing a large volume of customers with proposals for recommendations and correction of items that have failed during Test and Inspection or other services. They also provides proposals for customer requests that are not install project related, and are responsible for working all proposals through their sales pipeline from book to close stage. They must also develop and nurture relationships with key customers in their assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • All team members must embody the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their job.
  • Quote and manage inspection deficiencies
  • Achieve sales and profitability goals
  • Log and follow through on sales activity in the CRM system
  • Support operations as needed in the coordination and invoicing of booked jobs
  • Other duties as assigned.



MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE



  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Some college is a plus.
  • 1+ years' selling products or service in the fire protection industry.
  • Operations experience and strong customer support in the fire protection arena is a major plus.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Protege skill set with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.



Work Environment/Physical Demands


  • Work in a remote, home office.
  • Occasional meetings and site visits are required - overnight travel of approximately 10-15%.
