AML - CFT Analyst

Bank Five Nine is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our Compliance team as an AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism) Analyst. This role is critical in ensuring the Bank remains in full compliance with AML/CFT regulations and plays a key role in protecting the institution and its customers.

• Administer and maintain the Bank's AML/CFT compliance program, ensuring alignment with the USA Patriot Act, OFAC, and related regulations.

• Monitor customer activity for suspicious behavior and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) as needed.

• Manage high-risk customer accounts, performing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.

• Review and respond to FinCEN 314(a) and 314(b) requests.

• Oversee large currency transaction reporting (CTRs), ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Assist with annual AML/CFT and OFAC risk assessments.

• Maintain AML/CFT policies and procedures and recommend updates as necessary.

• Administer and support Verafin AML/CFT/Fraud software and respond to transactional alerts.

• Collaborate with departments across the Bank to gather information and resolve issues.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• At least five (5) years of experience in compliance or audit roles.

Preferred:

• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) certification or willingness to obtain within two years of hire.

• Prior experience with Verafin or similar AML software.

• Experience in a banking or financial services environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work onsite at our headquarters in Oconomowoc, WI.
