What You Do.
- Support leadership during off shifts through routine coaching, support, and partnership on routine discipline, attendance management and employee relation matters
- Maintains familiarity with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits programs and serves as a liaison between employees and appropriate subject matter expert as needed.
- Supports Employee Experience Managers in hearing and resolving employee concerns; may investigate employee concerns and recommend disciplinary action and termination decisions with oversight from Employee Experience Managers
- Ensures a positive workplace, with a supportive culture which enhances employee engagement & appreciation, rewards & recognition execution, and community involvement.
- Partner with Operations Leadership and Leave Team to support FMLA/STD and Worker's Comp related matters. Work with employees and leaders to determine reasonable accommodations
- Partners with Talent Acquisition to facilitate efficient and effective recruitment and candidate selection process, specifically creating position requisitions, interviewing, and providing counsel on hiring decisions
- Provides support as needed in Supervisor Onboarding of new and transferring employees, which may include new hire orientation, new leader onboarding and leader assimilations
- Facilitates employee retirements and conducts exit interviews; partners with Employee Experience Managers to identify and recommend modifications based on employee insights
- Supports and may execute internal job bidding process including posting, evaluating applicant pool, extending offers and recommending process improvements
- Maintains the work structure by updating and maintaining job requirements and job descriptions
- Maintains legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
- Supports customer compliance survey requests and onsite customer audits
- Maintains historical human resource records in the company HRIS, keeping past and current records.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Contributes to Employee Experience team initiatives by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintains complete and steadfast confidentiality in all matters regarding Human Resources.
- Travel between company locations is required.
Your Education and Experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management or related field and 1-2 years Human Resources or Supervisory experience required
