Job Family Project & Program Management Discipline Construction Project Management Career Level P5 Salary Range $124,000 - $180,000 Note for Salary This is the range within which SRNS expects the majority of qualified candidates would enter this role if offered. Actual offers may be more or less than the amounts shown depending on candidate's qualifications, experience, internal equity, and other factors. Job Family Description Project management personnel plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. Program management personnel manage programs responsible for the execution of multiple projects or sub-projects. They secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. They manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. Discipline Description In construction project management, individuals are responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction services and projects within the organization. They lead teams, manage resources, and facilitate communication among stakeholders to achieve project goals efficiently. Project managers use formal project management tools and methodologies, such as P6 scheduling tools. Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include: Establish and manage numerous diverse project management teams, providing policy direction, broad program direction, and establishing priorities needed to integrate numerous ongoing area projects. Manage project cost, schedule, scope, and subcontract matrices, while adhering to SRS quality, environmental, and safety objectives. Establish and control project costs, schedule, and technical baselines and provide effective management of project staff and matrix personnel to control baselines. Manage professional and non-exempt employees to include career development, motivation, performance review, and salary administration. Initiate and frequently deliver concise and accurate presentations to internal and external customers regarding project implementation plans, status, changes and new approaches, including complex technical, organizational and financial issues. Conduct highly complex analysis of problems involving numerous engineering disciplines. Develop new and innovative alternative action strategies enabling the early achievement of milestones. Perform risk analyses and provide decision authority for defining and approving corrective actions and establishing priorities. Manage project efforts to ensure project progress is within schedule, cost, technical, environmental, and legal baselines. Act as a technical project management advisor and consultant to project management teams, peers, less experienced project managers, and SRS senior management, and external customers. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least fifteen years of experience (YOE), OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least twelve years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field plus at least eight years of experience (YOE) We'd Also Like to See PMP Qualification, P6 Experience, Earned Value Management, Engineering Degree Career Band Professional Career Band Description * Roles in this band apply the knowledge in area of expertise to analyze information; design and develop new approaches, methodologies and processes; and, provide professional advice and guidance to others in accordance with professional quality standards Career Level Description Recognized as an expert within the company and requires in-depth expertise in own field/discipline and broad knowledge of other job disciplines, while solving unique problems that have a broad impact on the business. Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
