Interventional Radiologic Technologist - IR

This position is eligible to receive a $20,000Sign-On Bonus.

5 X 8 or 4 X 10

On-call 8 weekends a year

• Operates and maintains specialized radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepares patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and administering contrast agents as required.
• Monitors patients' vital signs and responses during procedures, and intervenes as necessary to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and execute complex interventional procedures, such as angioplasty and stent placement.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance and usage.
• Adheres to all safety protocols and infection control procedures to minimize risk to patients and staff.

Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.

• Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.
• Current ODH License, required

Current CPR Certification, required.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Two years of clinical experience in Radiologic Sciences, required.
• One year of Interventional experience, preferred.
• Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.
