Could you be the full-time onsite Material Planning/Scheduling Officer in Los Angeles, CA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and material planning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll ensure the seamless flow of materials and maintain supplier performance to support Alstom's production and project needs. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Procurement, Material Planning Management, and Suppliers), analyze and manage MRP exception messages, and contribute to risk assessments and mitigation action plans, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • "You'll specifically take care of managing Purchase Requisitions until Material Planning documents creation, but also analyzing supplier confirmations versus Alstom needs and evaluating risk/impact anticipation on production/projects.,



  • Ensuring and updating the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints) ,



  • Creating Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) & respective Source List and Quota Management ,



  • Communicating Material Planning documents to Suppliers and following up on Supplier confirmations ,



  • Organizing and maintaining regular reviews with Suppliers to check delivery status and performance ,



  • Analyzing and managing MRP exception messages to anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand, etc.) ,



  • Tracking missing parts until stock availability and ensuring non-conformities replacement through the NCR process

  • Degree in Business, Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain Certification ,



  • Experience or understanding of Materials Requirements Planning ,



  • Knowledge of Supplier Delivery Performance Management ,



  • Familiarity with Inventory Management & Material Planning techniques ,



  • Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively ,



  • Industrial scheduling expertise ,



  • Proficiency in Supply Chain information systems ,



  • Data analytics skills to support decision-making ,



  • Agility and adaptability to manage changing priorities ,



  • Collaboration and teamwork mindset to work across internal and external stakeholders

  • Compensation $90k - 100k
