Description Our client specializes in 4 major telecommunications categories- LMR (Land Mobile Radio, IBS (in-building wireless systems/IDAS), ITS (Intelligent transportation systems), and Security Systems. They have a number of in-building projects that they will work on over the next few years, this includes the construction and maintenance of in-building wireless access points. They are currently supporting projects in the Federal, State, and Local government, as well as education, transportation, and healthcare fields. This scope of work is specifically for the Manassas, VA market to help support an increase in workload including wireless installation, cable management, testing, troubleshooting, customer service, customer relations, etc. This candidate must have low voltage cabling experience including coax and fiber installation, racking and stacking, dressing and labeling, etc. Testing/troubleshooting is a plus. DAS experience is a plus but not a must for this role. Their work schedule consists of four 10s, Mon-Thu. If additional work is there, candidates may have the opportunity to pick up Fridays. The team's main office is located in Manassas, VA. This candidate can expect to meet at the office location in the morning and head out to the job site with the team. Work can also branch into the DC area. Top Skills Details 1. 2+ years of cable installation experience including Coax and Fiber (DAS experience is a huge plus). 2. Experience working within ISP cable/Network cable construction including racking and stacking. 3. Willingness to learn, grow, upskill, and be reliable. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
