Position Summary A Team Lead for Education amp; Evidence Based Practice (E/EB Team Leader) is licensed or certified professionals (physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, or therapeutic recreation specialists) who, in addition to rehabilitation team member responsibilities, leads collaborative projects to facilitate the mission, vision, and values of the Wexner Medical Center with an emphasis on translation of knowledge to practice to promote optimal clinical excellence. The E/EB Team Leader promotes an ongoing relationship with key partners with the goal of achieving clinical excellence in line with the missions of Ohio State Universitya??s Wexner Medical Center, accredited academic institutions affiliated with The Ohio State University, and the state and national professional governing associations/boards. In addition to rehabilitation team member responsibilities, the E/EB Team Leader develops initiatives annually to improve quality of care delivered by the Rehabilitation Department. Projects could include, but are not limited to, those that promote innovation in research, education, and patient care across an interdisciplinary continuum of care (initiatives should include collaborations between acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient and/or PT, OT, SLP, TR, RN, and physicians). Minimum Education Required Typically, two-three years experience working in a medical or rehab hospital setting is preferred for all professionals hired. In addition, a CC Team Leader must demonstrate leadership amongst peers as evidenced by commitment to compliance and to operational and compliance standards. |
