SUMMARY: The reconcilement area is responsible for the daily and monthly reconcilement of GL accounts, internal accounts, and all applications. This position is responsible for the daily reconcilement of more difficult bank records in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures, alerting the Reconcilement Manager of any and all out-of-balance conditions, and taking the necessary action to ensure that outstanding outages are researched and corrected. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Reconciles assigned accounts including GL, internal DDA and application accounts. Identifies outages on the daily reconcilements. Coordinates with the business area to clear out of balance situations. Escalates unresolved outages to the Reconcilement Manager in a timely manner. Uses technology in a manner to assist the department in creating efficiencies and automations. Assists team manager in preparing for audit requests and the completion of responses from corrective actions in audit findings. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner. Able to multi-task and effectively function under stressful conditions. Ability to work in team environment as well as independently. Strong time management skills. Strong organizational and prioritizing skills. Ability to be adaptable and flexible while handling workload pressure and deadlines. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, percentages, and averages. Must be a team player with a positive outlook. Ability to work additional hours as needed. Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Access. Advanced proficiency with Excel including pivot tables, advanced formulas, creating and maintaining tables. Ability to understand the banking reconcilement process and utilize industry technology to complete process. Experience with PeopleSoft and/or FIS Intellimatch is a plus. Willingness to provide a level of service, which will clearly differentiate us from our competitors. Ability to provide superior service to internal departments. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The wage range for the Reconcilement Specialist is $18.50-$22.50 per hour and eligible for approved overtime. The position includes 17 days of PTO (Paid Time Off) and 5 days of STD (Short Term Disability), 11 annual paid holidays, and 1 float holiday.
