The platform will power the business applications, and be the extensibility story for all of Office 365. We looking for a highly motivated and experienced scientist withexpertisein machine learning. We are hiring aPrincipal Applied ScientistinPowerApps team,you will work in an exciting and fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with teams across the company, including Microsoft Researchand various product groups. You will work as part of an organization that brings together talent in the areas of large language models, deep learning, information retrieval, software engineering, and responsible AI. ResponsibilitiesResearch and develop an understanding of thestate-of-the-arttools, technologies, and methods being used in the research community and product groups.Drive innovation by staying current with the latest research, technologies, and best practices in AI/ML, and bring these into the organization Advance research agenda through one or more projects,fine tuning models,yielding new algorithms, prototypes, theories, tools, methods, or collections of data. Lead and mentorteam ofapplied scientists, provide technical guidance, foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Drive the team's strategic vision and align it with the overall companyobjectives, influencing roadmaps and long-term vision. Bring research projects to successful completion yielding new algorithms, prototypes, theories, tools, methods, analyses, insights, or collections of data which solve one or more open research problems. Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize models, build scalable, robust pipelines and provide support for in production AI Models Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, success criteria, and deliverables.Lead end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from prototyping and implementation to evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
