Job Summary


The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $29.99 - $48.23 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSThis position requires flexibility to orient and work in all UCSF Medical Center locations as needed.
Ability to communicate effectively, both over the telephone and directly in person
Basic keyboard and computer skills (Microsoft Office) and basic math skills
Associates degree and 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONBi-lingual or multi-lingual capability (Spanish, Cantonese)
Experience with insurance verification (plans), patient financial services, medical record data abstraction, or data analysis
Experience with Epic electronic medical record.
