Job Title: Cook/Chef/ Culinary Specialist Location with zip code: 16251 Dallas Parkway, Addison, TX 75001 Duration: 12+ months (CTH) Payrate : $21/hr. on w2 without benefits Shift Timing: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday-Friday Certification: Texas Food Handler Certification Required. Notes: Clothing needed - chef coat (white or black) no piercings no offensive tattoos, non-slip shoes, closed toe shoes. Required Experience: 10-15 years' experience cooking. Experience preparing event style food Not just line cooking experience. Preferable someone that has a culinary degree of some sort of formal training as a Chef Supervisory experience preferred Role & Responsibilities: Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies. Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Cook Requirements: Proven experience as cook. Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware. Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) Ability to follow all sanitation procedures. Ability to work in a team. Very good communication skills. Excellent physical condition and stamina. High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.
