Job Description:

Microchip is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Human Resources Compensation team. The ideal candidate would have an interest in the implementation, administration, and upkeep of various compensation programs.

Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills-both verbal and written-as well as strong analytical abilities and a proven capacity to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with colleagues to support and drive decisions that align with our organization's goals and culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration of Microchip's compensation programs, including bonuses, merit increases, and promotions.
  • Conduct comprehensive job analyses to establish and maintain appropriate compensation levels for all positions.
  • Participate in the completion of third-party compensation survey questionnaires to benchmark and develop compensation strategies.
  • Compile, analyze, and summarize compensation data in a clear and concise manner for effective communication to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage employee documentation related to compensation changes, such as salary adjustments and promotions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation programs, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Perform data audits within HR systems to ensure accuracy and compliance of compensation records.
  • Facilitate the integration of acquired employees into Microchip's compensation structures, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment with company policies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and job aids to support HR compensation processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to support the execution of departmental deliverables and initiatives.
  • Contribute to special projects as needed to advance departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, specifically within a compensation team
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Workday and/or Radford is preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to handle and maintain confidential information with discretion.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong collaborative approach and ability to work effectively in team environments.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining productive relationships with key stakeholders at all organizational levels.
