Type: Contract Work Location: On-site, with travel across the state of Kentucky Start Date: August 2025 Pay Rate: $30/hour Job Overview: TEKsystems is looking for a Network Field Technician to help with installing, configuring, and maintaining server and network equipment. This includes setting up hardware, troubleshooting, and traveling to various sites across the state. Key Responsibilities: * Install and mount servers and networking equipment * Label and organize cables * Use VMware tools to configure and move virtual machines * Prepare and ship old equipment * Set up new hardware for deployment * Travel to different locations to install equipment * Take photos of installations and complete site surveys * Troubleshoot any issues during setup Requirements: * Experience: 2+ years in IT, helpdesk, installation, or network support * Skills: * Troubleshooting network and computer hardware * Understanding of network rooms * Familiarity with VMware vSphere and VMware Center * Attributes: * Good communication and problem-solving skills * Able to follow and give instructions * Strong record-keeping abilities Work Conditions: * Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and use warehouse tools * Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and insurance * Travel across the state is required (expenses covered) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
