Job Description

Drive sit down fork lift to load/unload trailers, put away and deliver parts to production lines. Perform transactions using RF scanners.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Responsible for 5S
  • Manage trailers in the dock doors to verify what is ready to load or unload
  • Load/Unload trailers using a sit-down forklift
  • Complete transfers and BOL scans using RF scanner
  • Transfer product out from the stored room location out to the correct Department location using an RF scanner
  • Deliver parts to IB/OB Turning production lines using a sit-down forklift
  • Returned parts from Production must be weigh counted, relabeled, & transferred from the Dept. location back to the stored room location


  • Communication during shift change about pertinent information
  • Any other duties assigned by team leader or supervisor



REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:




  • 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous forklift experience preferred
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to multitask
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communications skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • High School Diploma

Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more).
  • Stand, bend, and move for long periods.
  • Operate forklifts or other equipment safely.
  • Manual dexterity for handling materials and tools.



MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Attention to detail for inventory and safety.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot minor issues.
