The Investment Banking ("IB") Analyst Program

The Investment Banking ("IB") Analyst Program -- is a challenging two-year full-time program designed to introduce new and recent college graduates to the foundational concepts and processes of investment banking, with a focus on merger, acquisition and divestiture ("M&A") advisory services and select junior capital raise / private placement assignments. IB Analysts work closely with other IB professionals to market the firm's advisory services to prospective investment banking clients, and to execute engaged advisory assignments on behalf of such entities. Prospects include both existing clients of Comerica Bank, as well as private companies, corporations and/or other entities that may not yet be clients of the broader firm; clients include both privately held and publicly listed companies, active across a range of industries and geographies.

The base Analyst Program is intended to be two years in length, with the possibility of a third year in the Analyst Program for select high performers. The program begins with an intensive training program that introduces new IB Analysts to the fundamental concepts of financial analysis and valuation, as well as regulatory training and licensing exams. New IB Analysts gain exposure to the full scope of Comerica's capital markets and other product offerings, including related areas such as Loan Syndications, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Foreign Exchange.
