Job Summary

Acentra Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Operations to lead key initiatives that drive long-term business success and operational excellence. In this role, you will play a vital part in advancing our mission and strengthening our competitive position in the market. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, manage and develop support staff, and serve as a cross-functional liaison between departments and stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership in managing people, optimizing processes, and delivering measurable outcomes in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct day-to-day program operations across functional areas such as Customer Service, Administrative Support, and Assessment teams.
  • Provide direct supervision to non-clinical support staff and coordinate special initiatives including automated outreach systems and performance-based incentive programs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices to achieve program and departmental goals efficiently and effectively.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key business and financial metrics to support operational success. Conduct regular reviews to assess progress toward performance targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure program compliance and operational excellence across all aspects of assessment operations, including work plan execution, staff productivity monitoring, status reporting, and timely resolution of issues.
  • Proactively resolve operational challenges or delegate them to the appropriate teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures, including full compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, while promoting a culture of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Skilled in prioritizing and executing tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • The list of accountabilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties that management may deem necessary.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of recent and progressive management experience, preferably within a healthcare-related environment.
  • Direct experience working within public and/or private sector healthcare, with a strong understanding of delivering services to government-funded or commercial programs.
  • Proven leadership in employee development, coaching, and performance management, with the ability to build and sustain high-performing teams aligned with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and optimize operational procedures, implement effective policies, and execute strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency and program performance.
  • Strong ability to operate within complex organizational structures and multi-layered decision-making environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent and relevant experience in the U.S. healthcare system, with exposure to both public and private sector healthcare delivery models.

  • Proven ability to assess organizational resources and needs, and to develop actionable, strategic plans that align with the company's mission and long-term objectives.

  • Expertise in employee development, team coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Proficient in profit and loss (P&L) management, operational process improvement, remote workforce leadership, and supporting new business development initiatives.

Compensation

The compensation for this role ranges from $69,000 - $105,000 annual base salary.

Based on our compensation program, an applicant's position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
