Job Description

The Senior Director, Digital Product Integration Lead will set the overall vision, outline a pragmatic approach, and lead a matrixed team to develop and deploy enterprise capabilities needed to transform external end user experiences (e.g., patient, providers, payers, etc.). These enterprise capabilities are needed to create connected, seamless client and patient experiences at scale and need to be designed in a manner that makes it easy for the user to stay in workflow. To optimize external health ecosystem integration, some solutions will remain standalone while others will require the lead to optimize external EHRs and digital health partner integration.

As Epic holds the largest EHR market share, an area of focus for this role will be to identify and deploy deep integration with Epic to ease workflows and realize desired patient outcomes. To help ensure success, the role will be responsible for deploying proper change management efforts and tactics to drive adoption of digital solutions within the business and with external stakeholders. This includes helping to establish the organizational model needed to deploy, support, and manage non-EHR vendor relationships post-integration at scale.

This role is an individual contributor and will need to work with cross functional teams in a highly collaborative manner, providing leadership expertise without formal people management. With success, the role may evolve to manage a team of product managers and analysts.

Building key forums to refine problem statements, determine solutions, drive decision making, and measure success will be critical in the following areas:

This position will be located (hybrid) in Secaucus, NJ or Schaumburg, IL.

Pay Range: $210,000 - $250,000/year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and lead development of core, enterprise digital competencies needed for market differentiation and scaled adoption by providers, patients, and phlebotomists.

  • Work with the Design Team to create user experiences, wireframes and content that bring the journeys and product strategies.

  • Lead and manage cross product dependencies needed to realize the value of enterprise digital capabilities.

  • Establish transition and integration sequencing plan with other product owners.

  • Ensure the digital products roadmaps are consistent with our investment plans.

  • Monitor market environment (consumer, technology, competition, and government/regulatory agencies) to understand the impact on change as it relates to Quest's digital product/features.

  • Ensure comprehensive competitive information on market penetration, product capabilities and initiatives are maintained.

  • Work with product leads and legal to ensure IP protection for Quest assets as appropriate.

  • Become fully trained and certified on the relevant Epic solutions and be the go-to SME from a functional usage standpoint.

  • Partner closely with project management and other internal stakeholders to ensure all pieces are in place to enable immediate and successful adoption by users. This includes solution promotion, internal operation changes, training, deployment methodology planning & monitoring and post-launch issue resolution.

  • Build in-organization excitement for solutions (the value of the whole, while also making sure the pieces are highly visible) in partnership with marketing and communications.

  • Help refine the go-forward organizational construct that will own the products post-implementation.

  • Ensure the base business case value for our business partners, patients and clients is achieved as planned.

  • Seek input and obtain buy-in on business plans with internal partners to ensure support for digital product opportunities.

  • Promote an environment that encourages collaboration, initiative, continuous improvement, learning and the generation of innovative ideas and solutions.



Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant work experience in Product management, with most recent experience in Digital Product Management with solutions deployed at scale.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering multi-year visions, strategies, and solutions in the healthcare or healthcare adjacent digital solution space.

  • Experience implementing and integrating Epic applications (secondary to experience in developing end user digital solutions).

  • Experience managing executive relationships and aligning C-suite leaders to strategy/vision.

  • Digital product management portfolio, digital Journey management, Agile Execution and user experience.

  • Experience employing change management best practices to maximize solution adoption.

  • Proven ability to create lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to understand a dynamic competitive landscape, synthesize customer feedback, and build and adapt a market- differentiating strategy.

  • Decisive and action-oriented, yet collaborative.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced culture and continuously improving to find creative solutions.
