Field Resource Specialist

Location: On-Site, O'Fallon, MO

Work Schedule: 80 hrs/pay period (2 wks), 12-hr shifts, every other weekend required

Salary Range: $48,000-$50,000 DOE

JOB SUMMARY

The Field Resource Specialist is responsible for providing customer service by delivering consistent information and serving as an immediate resource. This role includes real-time monitoring and management of resources, intake of information regarding employee exposure, incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies, and forwarding this information to Human Resources. The position also compiles necessary details pertaining to narcotic discrepancies for the Director of Patient Care Services. Additionally, the specialist offers technical support for the electronic medical record (EMR) system and communicates functional issues directly to the EMR vendor for resolution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the technical liaison for electronic medical record systems, provides real-time assistance, and reports capability issues directly to the EMR company
  • Documents all resource transfers in designated tracking systems
  • Monitors resources in real time and assists with reallocations as needed
  • Coordinates resource allocation with the Communications Supervisor to ensure safety and completeness of information
  • Processes information related to employee exposure, incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies for Human Resources
  • Collects and submits documentation for narcotic discrepancies to the Director of Patient Care Services
  • Verifies and supervises after-hours review of flight crew credentials for flight status placement
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Experience:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for interaction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to complete projects and tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills
  • Capable of problem identification, data collection, factual analysis, and implementing appropriate actions
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a team setting

Education:

  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years' work experience in customer service or a related field
