Position Summary:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a Private Sector Liaison to foster engagement and coordination with private sector partners during emergency response operations. This position plays a critical role in integrating private sector capabilities and resources into State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) functions to enhance disaster response and recovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Engage with private sector partners to support SEOC operations during emergencies
  • Coordinate access to private sector resources, talent, and capabilities in support of response efforts
  • Facilitate communication between private industry and SERT leadership
  • Identify critical private sector stakeholders and establish collaborative relationships
  • Assist with situational awareness by gathering private sector impact reports and resource availability
  • Support planning efforts and integration of private sector partners into emergency operations
  • Maintain contact lists, resource databases, and coordination documentation
  • Represent private sector interests in SEOC briefings and coordination meetings


Basic Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of work experience in private sector coordination, emergency management, or business continuity planning
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to assess private sector resource capabilities and integrate into public response plans
  • Understanding of emergency management frameworks and operations
  • Must be a U.S. citizen


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working with business emergency operations centers or public-private partnerships
  • Familiarity with Emergency Support Functions and SEOC operations
  • Knowledge of critical infrastructure sectors and supply chain logistics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication platforms used in emergency coordination

  • U.S. Citizenship Required: Yes
  • Performance Location: On-site while on assignment (location TBD)
  • Relocation Assistance: Not applicable
  • Clearance Required: None
  • Travel Required: Yes - up to 100% while on assignment


Working Environment:

Work is performed primarily in Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), coordination centers, or remotely in collaboration with private sector stakeholders. Extended hours and travel may be required across the continental United States and its territories during emergency activations.
