Logistics Specialist
Various Locations Position Summary: Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a Logistics Specialist to assist the Logistics Section Chief in managing administrative and clerical duties. This role is responsible for maintaining records, acquiring and prioritizing information, and taking notes during meetings to ensure effective logistical coordination during incident response operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Logistics Section Chief with administrative and clerical functions
- Maintain and organize logistics-related documentation and records
- Take accurate meeting notes and ensure timely distribution of information
- Support prioritization of incoming information and task tracking
- Coordinate with other sections to facilitate efficient logistics operations
- Assist in preparing logistics reports and updates
- Provide support in scheduling and logistics planning activities
- Perform general administrative support duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of work experience in a logistics or administrative support role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation tools
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with ICS and emergency management procedures
- Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting emergency response or logistics coordination
- Familiarity with logistics tracking systems or WebEOC
- Knowledge of supply chain or resource management processes

- Performance Location: On-site while on assignment (location TBD)

- Travel Required: Yes - up to 100% while on assignment
Working Environment: Work is performed in Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), field environments, or remote coordination centers. Extended hours and travel may be required across the continental United States and its territories during emergency activations.
