Job Summary

The Technical Performance Analyst will manage and improve the performance of our customers buildings via cultivating client relationships and delivering insight by analyzing building data. Oversees all customer HVAC performance meetings through the use of TD's BrightBlue software. This role provides HVAC and BAS technical insights by analyzing installed technology platforms daily, managing tasks, and driving positive impact for customers. The Technical Performance Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction. Occasional travel to customer sites will be required for performance meetings and system reviews.


Essential Duties

  • Provide HVAC and BAS technical support through daily analysis of installed technology platforms.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Schedule and conduct all HVAC performance meetings.
  • Conduct analytical review of building and system performance, focusing on utility savings, sustainability, and optimization.
  • Evaluate HVAC and BAS diagnostics to troubleshoot issues and make recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to provide virtual support for ongoing HVAC and BAS repairs.
  • Manage tasks related to Smart Analytics Software and/or Building Automation Software
  • Work with customers and operations teams to develop proposals for recommended repairs, including Energy Conservation Measures.
  • Analyze site-specific data to improve system performance, reduce energy consumption, and enhance comfort.
  • Communicate findings and solutions effectively to customers and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment life optimization and reduction in operating costs.
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • At least 5 years of experience as a BAS Field Applications Engineer or HVAC Technician, with demonstrated communication skills and technical expertise.
  • At least 5 years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system issues, including chillers, boilers, and air distribution systems
  • Proficiency in using software platforms for HVAC system management.
  • Knowledge of Commercial and Industrial HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with high ownership and result oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
  • Ability to think creatively to find solutions that optimize system performance, improve equipment longevity, and reduce costs.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
  • Ability to solve complex problems that frequently include multiple trade partners and customers
