Job Objective: To assist in maintaining property and grounds in accordance with acceptable standards of safety, cleanliness and appearance. Property includes building, grounds, vehicles and equipment serving the building. Operates vehicle(s) to make pick up/deliveries of materials or transport of personnel Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School or equivalent; vocational training in construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical repair preferred Experience: Minimum two years' experience in maintenance or construction field Certifications/Licenses: None Skills/Abilities:
Supervisory Responsibility: None Physical Requirements: Include standing, walking, climbing, and kneeling for extended periods of time; lifting up to 50 pounds. Travel: Day travel can occur on a daily basis Driving: Position requires the ability to drive. Employee must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Working Conditions: Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. May require irregular and/or extended hours on periodically.
