Compliance & BSA Officer
Do you have a passion for compliance, risk management, and keeping organizations one step ahead of regulatory change? We're looking for a Compliance & BSA Officer who will lead the Bank and Mortgage company's efforts to maintain a risk-based compliance and BSA program that protects our customers, our reputation, and our growth. This is a role where you'll be the trusted partner for business leaders, ensuring that our policies, procedures, and practices not only meet legal and regulatory standards-but also support our mission to serve our community with integrity. What You'll Do
Audit, Monitor & Report (20%) Perform compliance and BSA audits. Prepare and present periodic reports to the Board of Directors on the Bank's compliance status. Stay Ahead of Regulations (15%) Monitor new and pending federal and state laws. Revise policies and procedures as needed. Ensure affected departments are notified and trained on changes in a timely manner. Community & CRA Program (5%) Develop and oversee programs that help the Bank meet CRA requirements. Maintain strong relationships with community organizations, regulators, and government agencies. Leadership & Team Development (5%) Provide coaching, training, and feedback to team members. Handle staffing, performance management, and career development to build a strong compliance culture. Other Duties (5%) Maintain all required BSA records.
