. Compliance & BSA Officer Do you have a passion for compliance, risk management, and keeping organizations one step ahead of regulatory change? We're looking for a Compliance & BSA Officer who will lead the Bank and Mortgage company's efforts to maintain a risk-based compliance and BSA program that protects our customers, our reputation, and our growth. This is a role where you'll be the trusted partner for business leaders, ensuring that our policies, procedures, and practices not only meet legal and regulatory standards-but also support our mission to serve our community with integrity. What You'll Do Lead Compliance & BSA Programs (50%) Develop, implement, and maintain a compliance and BSA program that prevents violations of consumer and commercial laws. Keep our written BSA policies and procedures current, clear, and accessible. Train employees across the company on compliance and BSA programs. Build and maintain a compliance resource library and company-wide training program. Audit, Monitor & Report (20%) Perform compliance and BSA audits. Prepare and present periodic reports to the Board of Directors on the Bank's compliance status. Stay Ahead of Regulations (15%) Monitor new and pending federal and state laws. Revise policies and procedures as needed. Ensure affected departments are notified and trained on changes in a timely manner. Community & CRA Program (5%) Develop and oversee programs that help the Bank meet CRA requirements. Maintain strong relationships with community organizations, regulators, and government agencies. Leadership & Team Development (5%) Provide coaching, training, and feedback to team members. Handle staffing, performance management, and career development to build a strong compliance culture. Other Duties (5%) Maintain all required BSA records. Support special projects and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. How Success is Measured Compliance policies are always aligned with current state and federal regulations. Departments are kept informed of regulatory changes in a timely and effective manner. Risk assessments of products and accounts are performed regularly and supported with the right tools. Training is provided and documented, ensuring employees are always prepared. Reports are delivered accurately, professionally, and on time. The Bank maintains a strong reputation with regulators, customers, and the community. A professional, supportive, and inclusive work environment is consistently promoted. What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of BSA, CRA, consumer compliance, and commercial banking laws. Excellent communication skills-you can translate regulatory language into clear guidance for employees. Ability to analyze, interpret, and implement new laws and regulations. Experience in training, policy development, and compliance audits. A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
