Responsibilities
Roxbury Treatment Center is currently hiring full-time Intake Counselors to work in our admissions department. Intake Counselors on this evening shift work five 8-hour shifts throughout the week. $2,500 Sign-On Bonus Offered for this full-time position!! Job Role/Responsibilities: The Intake Counselor, under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, interviews and assesses potential patients and inquiry callers. The Intake Counselor works with the Business Office regarding patient financial data, as well as with the UR Department for the certification of patients admitted. Also initiates the referral and admission process by determining appropriate level of care needs in conjunction with the physician/provider. The Intake Counselor is also responsible for initiating and maintaining communication with referral sources. Benefits:

Qualifications Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or a other related Human Services field required - OR - Registered Nurse, Experience: 2-3 years in the area of substance abuse/psychiatric treatment programs, including experience in intake/admissions and managed care preferred. License: License is not required unless candidate is a nurse, then active nursing license in the State of Pennsylvania is required.
