DIVISION - TEXAS ENERGY FUND The Texas Energy Fund (TxEF) Division administers grant and loan programs established by the Texas Legislature to enhance electric generation reliability across the state. Created by Senate Bill 2627 and approved by Texas voters in 2023, the TxEF provides up to $10 billion in funding to support the construction, maintenance, modernization, and operation of dispatchable electric generating facilities. The division is responsible for implementing, administering, and monitoring four distinct TEF programs and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, programmatic caps, and legislative deadlines. Do you want to play a key role in supporting statewide energy funding programs that strengthen Texas' electric infrastructure? The Texas Energy Fund Division has an opportunity for a TEF Grant Specialist to help administer and oversee grant and loan program that drive energy resilience and reliability across the state. This position is responsible for reviewing loan and grant applications, drafting and managing agreements, monitoring project performance, and ensuring compliance with TEF program requirements, applicable statutes, and agency policies. The role works closely with applicants, internal teams, and external stakeholders to provide guidance track funding activities, and support accurate reporting. WORK SCHEDULE The PUCT operates on a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Employees may request an alternative work schedule in accordance with the PUCT's Alternative Work Schedule Policy. Approval of such requests, including any form of telecommuting, is at management's discretion and based on the business needs of the agency and the requirements of the position. New employees must complete a 90-day period of employment before being eligible to request telecommuting.
