POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Diesel Technician
Reports to: Operations Manager
Scope: This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining moto coaches and other commercial vehicles.
This information reflects the proposed base salary range for this position based on available data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors including job related skills, experience, applicable education or training and other relevant factors
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains motor coaches, commercial and non-commercial vehicles and other vehicles
- Understands and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures
- Compliance with all local, State, and Federal regulations applicable to operations, buildings, grounds, and personnel including EPA, OSHA, and DOT
- Specific duties and responsibilities are determined by Individual Service Technician training, certification, knowledge, skill, and experience
- Other Duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Requires good organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments within expected time frames
- Employee must possess the tools necessary to complete assigned responsibilities
- Previous experience with Body and Frame Repairs
- Experience with Interior Component repair/replacement
- Audio/Video knowledge recommended not required
Skills:
- Must be a self-starter and possess a positive attitude
- Must have a good attendance
- Must be willing to travel, with possible work on the weekends/overtime
Physical Demands:
- Ability to frequently move items weighing up to 100 pounds.
