POSITION:?

Sales Representative, Reporting to Chief Growth Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:?

The Sales Representative will be responsible for helping us to build out a new business line called Hutchinson Data Services.? These will be services we build on top of the enDAQ platform.?enDAQ is a convenient, adaptable and reliable data acquisition tool used by thousands of customers around the world.? This is a high risk, high reward opportunity where we need a sales representative out in the world driving generating and driving opportunities for this emerging business unit. This position is for someone who is self-motivated, goal oriented, opportunistic, adaptable and enjoys "hunting" for new business opportunities. An appropriate candidate must be self-directed, dependable, proactive, and able to utilize sales tools to grow business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:




  • Analyze market trends, customer needs and pain points, and competitor offerings.





  • Identify and prioritize target markets and segments.





  • Gather feedback to inform product development.





  • Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients in the new markets.





  • Use cold outreach, networking, referrals, digital tools and any other means to generate leads.





  • Travel to visit potential customers and speed up time to revenue.





  • Attend industry events or webinars to establish early traction.





  • Tailor value propositions to resonate with early customers.





  • Help develop or refine messaging based on early sales interactions.





  • Collaborate with marketing to produce effective sales collateral.





  • Conduct discovery calls, demos, and presentations.





  • Collect and relay customer feedback to customer success team.





  • Build case studies or testimonials from early wins.





  • Track key metrics (leads, conversion rates, revenue).





  • Report on pipeline health and sales forecasts in our CRM tool.





  • Provide insights into what's working or not with the new business line.





  • Be opportunistic and adaptable to flex to the more promising opportunities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:?




  • BS or BA in a relevant field of study





  • 2+ years sales experience required





  • Excellent written and oral communication skills?





  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office





  • Excellent communication skills, internally and to potential customers?





  • Independent self-starter?
