Description

Support enterprise-wide IT projects for new construction, renovations, and Enterprise IT projects. The program provides strategic guidance, project planning, oversight, and management for the implementation of Enterprise technology across new construction, renovations, and IT projects within the agency. Through coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders and end-user groups, the program ensures that all initiatives are planned, designed, constructed, integrated, and delivered using a hybrid systems development and systems engineering lifecycle (SDLC and SELC) methodology. This approach guarantees the deployment of the latest and most advanced Enterprise technology, driving efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.

Requirements

* Performs complex and advanced architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation in support of system development, engineering analysis and research.

* Leads in the integration of processes and methodologies to ensure the performance of the total system.

* Works directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex technical solutions related to a program's system and technical product development.

* Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of scientific principles and practices in broad areas across one or more technical disciplines.

* Maintains a liaison role for technical matters with staff and customers and acts independently on technical issues within his/her field of expertise.

* Will support the ATO and accreditation processes.

* Advise on planning, directing, and managing specific complex IT/AV capabilities and comprehensive IT/AV design packages, create database architecture diagrams, infrastructure schematic drawings, detailed network, block connect, wireline diagrams, rack elevation diagrams and configuration management plans.

* Management of baseline and future-state stakeholder requirements gathering process for specific IT/AV capabilities in projects similar in size and scope.

* Use of software programs (i. e. CAD, Vizio, Bluebeam, etc.).

* Expected to work in cross-team collaboration, stakeholder communication, and executive demonstrations/presentations.

Required Skills

* Active TS or SCI and eligible for Poly

* 13+ years' experience with Federal Government IT/AV systems.

* Experience with Planning, directing, and managing specific complex IT/AV capabilities and comprehensive IT/AV design packages, create database architecture diagrams, infrastructure schematic drawings, detailed network, block connect, wireline diagrams, rack elevation diagrams and configuration management plans.

* Management of baseline and future-state requirements gathering process for specific IT/AV capabilities in projects similar in size and scope.

* Significant experience with capability specific tracking of software programs (i.e. CAD, Vizio, etc.).

* Experience gathering requirements, cross-team collaboration, stakeholder communication, and executives

* Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follow tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.

* Teamwork: Able to enthuse and maintain project interest. Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team. Prepared to challenge ideas within a group in a constructive way.

* Problem Solving: Natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause, generating alternatives, evaluating and selecting alternatives and implementing solutions.

* Results oriented: Able to drive things forward regardless of personal interest in the task.
