Your Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5pm ET, hybrid schedule with three days in-office and two days remote.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Communications, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking an Account Manager to join the team in Dayton, OH to manage and grow relationships with key accounts while ensuring operational excellence in quoting, order management, e-commerce platform maintenance, and inventory coordination. This role requires a balance of strong relationship-building skills and sharp business acumen, combined with hands-on execution in daily account operations. The ideal candidate will identify revenue opportunities, support gross margin improvement strategies, and mentor peers to drive team performance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned high-value, strategic customer accounts, delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end order processes, including quoting, order entry, tracking, and resolution of customer issues.
  • Oversee and maintain customer-facing e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate product, pricing, and availability information.
  • Coordinate with operations and supply chain teams to monitor inventory levels, resolve backorder issues, and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Develop account plans that align customer needs with company goals, identifying revenue growth and margin improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with sales, operations, finance, and product teams to deliver seamless service and value-added solutions.
  • Conduct account reviews, analyze performance metrics, and proactively recommend strategies to improve profitability.
  • Mentor and coach peers within the team, sharing best practices and driving a culture of high performance.
  • Track market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to support account strategies.
  • Meet or exceed targets for revenue growth, gross margin, customer satisfaction, and account retention.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 5 years of experience in account management, customer service, or sales support, with a focus on high-value accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of order management, quoting, e-commerce platforms, and inventory coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Business acumen with the ability to analyze financials and contribute to gross margin improvement strategies.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting peers to enhance team performance.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, ERP/order management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
