Asset Management Application Administrator Pay Grade: 917 Location: Reservoirs Vacancy Announcement Nature Of The Work Office Environment WC 8810 Brief Description The primary purpose of this position is to record, update and maintain the record keeping system of assets in the Asset Management Software for a specified Brazos River Authority (BRA) location. This is accomplished by entering all applicable new asset information, including warranty and maintenance requirements, or providing to the IT Department for entry into the Asset Management database; recording transfers and reassignments of assets; capturing all maintenance, repairs and improvements of assets; managing specific functions of the application by generating work orders, tracking preventative and demand tasks associated with BRA assets; logging destruction and disposal of assets, ensuring all information is properly entered into the system and is in compliance with BRA's Asset Management Procedure. Responsibilities also include: annual audit of inventory and preventative maintenance tasks reviewing departmental work orders on a weekly basis; completing work orders by documenting the work performed, parts and labor for the activity, and any applicable invoices; creating and assigning inspection points for assets; generating reports; tracking fuel entries; coordinating with departments to facilitate BRA asset management objectives; and any other duties as assigned.
