We are seeking a Legal Operations Manager to bring structure, visibility, and efficiency to our contracting process. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will design and implement systems, workflows, and analytics to help our legal team (6 attorneys and contract managers) deliver contracts faster without sacrificing quality or risk management.
This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and other business units to improve how we request, review, approve, and execute agreements.

What You'll Do:
  • Contract Lifecycle Management
  • Map and document the end-to-end contracting process for all agreement types (sales, procurement, NDAs, DPAs, partner agreements).
  • Standardize templates, playbooks, and fallback positions for faster negotiations.
  • Implement triage systems to route low-risk agreements to self-service or fast-track review.
  • Manage delegation of authority policies and signature approval workflows.
Data, Metrics, and Reporting
  • Define and track KPIs, including:
  • Average contract cycle time by contract type and value
  • SLA compliance rate for contract reviews
  • Workload distribution across the legal team
  • Build and maintain dashboards in CLM, Salesforce, or BI tools for real-time visibility.
  • Prepare quarterly and ad hoc performance reports for legal leadership.
Technology & Tools
  • Own and optimize our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform.
  • Integrate contracting tools with Salesforce, DocuSign, and other business systems.
  • Create automated workflows for common agreements (NDAs, order forms).
Cross-Functional Enablement
  • Partner with Sales Operations to streamline deal desk and contracting touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Finance to align payment terms, revenue recognition, and compliance.
  • Train non-legal staff on contract intake and approval processes.
Process Improvement
  • Identify bottlenecks and lead projects to improve contract turnaround times.
  • Run post-mortems on delayed contracts and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor legal industry best practices and emerging technologies for process innovation
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years in legal operations, contracts management, project management, or similar role (SaaS or technology sector preferred).
  • Proficiency with CLM tools (e.g., Ironclad, ContractWorks, DocuSign CLM), Salesforce, and BI dashboards (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong project management capabilities; Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a focus on business enablement.
