Position description

Associate or Full Specialist - Phillips lab

The successful applicant will be involved in designing and executing mechanistic and phenotypic cell-based assays, gene perturbation studies, and biomarker discovery using imaging, molecular, and protein analysis techniques. They will gain experience in clinical biomarker design and validation, in vitro and in vivo assays, and primary cell culture. They will work as part of a collaborative team.

Required Qualification:



  • Specialists appointed at the Associate rank must possess a Master's degree (or equivalent degree) or five to ten years of experience in the relevant specialization.
  • Specialists appointed at the Full rank must possess a terminal degree (or equivalent degree) or ten or more years of experience in the relevant specialization.
  • 5+ years of experience in molecular and cellular biology.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in cancer biology and biomarker development.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • PhD degree
