Job Description: The Mandatory Learning Curriculum Senior Associate will work directly with the Learning Design Lead and with learning design team members, vendors, firm risk management, Talent Solutions team members, firm risk management, and other subject matter experts to support the development and execution of mandatory training and resources. This individual will proactively organize and prioritize work and manage relationships with a diverse team of partners and stakeholders. Curriculum Design
- Identify critical knowledge and skills required to support client training objectives.
- In conjunction with the Learning Design Lead, review vendor contracts to ensure the content aligns with current goals and strategy.
- Recommend changes to the curriculum based on learner feedback or research findings.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts and content development teams to develop engaging learning activities and assessment tools that can directly measure learning and application of concepts.
- Ensure all content, learning activities, and assessments are mapped to learning outcomes as defined by the curriculum and adhere to the firm's compliance controls.
Curriculum Management
- Develop a calendar for curriculum updates and new courses.
- Review existing curriculum materials to ensure that they meet quality and compliance standards.
- Manage recurring learning processes such as annual course updates, course deactivation, and course closedowns.
- Ensure courses are compliant with the standards set by NASBA, AICPA, and other governing bodies, including Crowe's internal controls.
- Apply instructional design and adult learning theory to help guide and support the design team in delivering visually compelling solutions that provide a rewarding learner experience.
Project Management and Communications
- Demonstrate strong project management practices, including adjusting due dates as needed, assigning tasks as appropriate, and providing necessary links/resources so the team has what it needs.
- Manage project plans and keep the Learning Design Lead apprised of project status, issues, risks, and critical decisions.
- Collaborate with the mandatory training owners to identify learning outcomes for each project and set the project direction.
- Effectively communicate with cross-functional team members while managing up by providing concise updates and information to managers.
- Complete all compliance reviews for exam integrity, copyright, and NASBA required CPE calculations and documentation.
- Work closely with external learning vendors, ensuring they adhere to strict timelines and quality expectations and partnering with them to modify the courses as needed
Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge and expertise in learning and development, including needs analysis, instructional design, learning trends, and learning analytics/measurement.
- Knowledge of Articulate 360 and LC Vista LMS systems
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to support and deliver concurrent projects on time.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in deliverables.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams and with external vendors.
- Ability to understand evolving compliance controls and embed them effectively into learning processes.
- Ability to develop and edit content according to specific needs of stakeholders and learners.
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance efficiencies.
General Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, curriculum design, or related roles.
- Experience in a professional services environment preferred.
- Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams Planner) to track and communicate project status, issues, and risks.
- Experience with instructional design and adult learning theory to guide and support design teams.
- Knowledge of National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) continuing professional education (CPE) requirements and standards preferred.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,000.00 - $131,000.00 per year.
