OverviewThe Microsoft Teams Instrumentation team is seeking a seasoned Principal Product Manager to lead the evolution of our telemetry and data systems. This role is pivotal in shaping how we collect, analyze, and act on data at scale to drive product excellence, solid fundamentals, and customer satisfaction. ResponsibilitiesDrive the strategy and execution for large-scale telemetry and clickstream data systems that support Microsoft Teams. Partner with engineering, data science, and product teams to define and deliver next-generation instrumentation frameworks and data pipelines. Lead cross-functional initiatives from inception to launch, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders. Influence and collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to drive adoption of data-driven decision-making. Define and prioritize product requirements with a strong focus on customer impact, scalability, and performance. Champion the application of AI across the instrumentation lifecycle to increase productivity, improve data quality, strengthen governance, streamline pipelines, and unlock downstream insights.
