Senior Sales & Business Development Leader, NAM Services Role Summary The Senior Sales & Business Development Leader, NAM Services is responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the commercial growth strategy for Alstom's North American Services business unit. As critical member of the Alstom commercial team, this role will interface with key stakeholders throughout the Alstom organization as needed to develop customer focused value propositions, identify & capture services business growth for the region, and support Alstom's commercial organization in all external business development and sales opportunities within the role's area of responsibility. Responsibilities
- Lead the Services commercial team in all aspects of portfolio growth including strategy development, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, and value communication for a portfolio of accounts located in the US and Canada.
- In coordination with the Alstom Customer Director team, serve as the primary conduit between Alstom and assigned customers to develop a deep understanding of their business operations and how Alstom's products and services deliver added value to the customer.
- Build customer relationships and communication at all levels.
- Matrix with existing functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives.
- Structure, price, negotiate and close business opportunities.
- Lead the preparation and strategy of winning proposals during the Bid/Tender phase, ensuring organizational alignment to the tender schedule, the customer requirements, and the delivery approach of the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- 10 years experience in North American railway or rail transit industry segment
- At least 5 years of experience of direct sales, product management, account or team leadership experience in an commercial or operations role.
- Demonstrated domain knowledge of NAM passenger & transit business operations, market environment, and Alstom's value proposition in the performance of Maintenance and Operations Services.

- Strategic or product marketing experience, including product development, Value Story creation, and launching new technologies with customers.
- Experience in the application and/or use of technology-based solutions to improve operational outcomes in large scale business operations.
- Customer-centric mindset, ability to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions.
- Direct leadership experience in rail or transit operations & system maintenance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
