GENERAL FUNCTION

The OTG Warehouse Team Lead works in conjunction with the Zone Technical Support team to ensure that Spare Parts and PM materials are inventoried and delivered to HMC labs as needed to maintain equipment operation and Preventive Maintenance activities, along with maintaining accurate inventory levels and accounting.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Leads inventory control operations according to established policies.
  • Leads inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations.
  • Fulfills spare part workorders and PM kits in timely manner to support lab operations.
  • Writes purchase order (PO) requests (Oracle and SAP), English and Spanish.
  • Tracks orders processing lead time and delivery status.
  • Manages RMA activities with vendors for equipment repair.
  • Organizes physical inventory activities according to established policies.
  • Prepares monthly inventory activity reports and transfer sheets and provides to accounting dept.
  • Performs regular cycle counts between semi-annual physical inventory
  • Manages transportation requests for shipments


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years' experience in warehouse/inventory control environment.
  • Spanish/English bilingual in speaking and writing
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks, within set timelines, while meeting the standards.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team; ability to work with others.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excel and MS Word competency, in addition to basic computer skills.
  • Self-Starter and motivated to complete tasks on own.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy, and professionalism.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • SAP/Oracle Purchasing system.
