Content Writer - Exchange

The IT Pro content writer position is part of an Aquent managed service team in the Customer Experience & Support organization at supporting Exchange for a commercial audience. The content writer produces a portion of a complex documentation set that complies with documentation plan requirements. Writing content includes working closely with subject matter experts within a content strategy, developing answer trees, and contributing to the content strategy. Works effectively with program management and other internal

customers as needed.

Skills:

3 years of work-related experience required, writing for an IT Pro audience.

In-depth knowledge of Exchange server product.

Must be able to provide examples of writing work in previous role. Must be able to accomplish objectives that span multiple product or subject areas, and possess proactive and strategic problem-solving skills.

Must have excellent writing and analytical skills.

Must be able to contribute to a project from end to end with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated ability to combine technical expertise with technical communication skills is required.

Must have demonstrated interest in, and knowledge of, broad but related areas of technology.

The ability to work under deadline pressure is required. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Journalism, English or related field preferred. Work related experience may substitute for degree.

Role is remote and working during regular Redmond business hours for a typical 40-hour work week (excluding holidays). Any OT or holiday work must be pre-approved by manager.
