We're seeking a future team member for the role of Product Analyst to join our Product Practice team. This role is located in New York, NY.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Product Specialist to support our Product Practice across a variety of project deliverables, from communication and engagement to project delivery and analytics. This role requires someone with a strong foundation in product management tools and methodologies, coupled with the ability to design visually compelling presentations, create robust data sets, and deliver actionable insights.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Excel, and other analytics platforms to provide real-time insights into product metrics, performance, and trends.
- Collect and synthesize data from multiple sources to create actionable recommendations for product strategy and operations.
- Design and deliver visually engaging presentations using PowerPoint and other tools to effectively communicate complex data and concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Translate analytical insights into compelling narratives that guide decision-making and align with organizational objectives.
- Develop detailed communication plans for a wide range of stakeholders
Tool and Process Management:
- Leverage advanced skills in Trello, Confluence, Miro, Figma and other collaboration platforms to streamline workflows, manage team tasks, and enhance project visibility.
- Support the implementation and optimization of product management tools and frameworks across team
- Knowledge of how to build SharePoint and other sites and gather metrics and data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with product managers, business analysts, and leadership to understand business needs and provide analytical support.
- Act as the go-to resource for technical expertise in creating data-driven solutions and process improvements, including Viva/Teams/SharePoint etc.
Documentation and Knowledge Management:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including guides, templates, and playbooks, to support product team operations in partnership with the Product Coach/Product Practice Lead
- Standardize reporting processes and ensure consistency across teams.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 5 + years of experience in a related role, ideally within the Big 4 Consulting or the Product industry.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management frameworks (preferred, not essential)
- Possesses curiosity to ask the hard questions, explores new ideas, and continuously learns and researches to meet goals.
- Strong communicator & Influencer - ability to communicate ideas to a variety of different audiences
- Possesses a "get-it-done" attitude - ability to get around roadblocks and stay focused on the vision. Organized, resourceful, and able to prioritize tasks.
- Has an interest in constantly learning new tools and technologies
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.), and data visualization techniques.
- Expertise in tools like Confluence, Trello, JIRA, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality data visualizations and presentations.
- Strong PowerPoint design skills, with an eye for visual storytelling and detail.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
