is hiring for a Lead Packaging Technician
for our growing diagnostics customer in Carlsbad, CA.
The individual will be reporting to the Production Manager and will assist in keeping production schedules on track. Your responsibilities will include setting up daily packaging and labeling of customer orders for other packaging technicians and assisting in all areas of filling and packaging.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure standard operating procedures are followed to maintain FDA and USDA compliance.
• Assist in maintaining standard operating systems in order to maintain cGMP, ISO, USDA and FDA compliance.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as needed.
• Accurately note inventories used on all production paperwork and in company MRP System.
• Label and assemble kit components and boxes.
• Assemble and pouch lateral flow devices as well as other types of medical devices.
• Assist in coating, labeling and pouching of 96 well plates.
• Count and bag miscellaneous kit components.
• Fill and cap reagent vials and bottles.
• Package customer orders.
• Complete necessary receiving paperwork accurately and in a timely manner and within company MRP system.
• Maintain proper warehouse locations and proper storage conditions.
• Assist Production Manager in scheduling other Packaging Technicians
• Other duties as assigned.
