This role is critical for integrating mission-critical systems, conducting rigorous testing, and ensuring operational readiness of next-generation aerospace technologies. As part of our program, you will work at the intersection of systems engineering, mission execution, and operational validation to deliver solutions for national defense and security.
Responsibilities
- Mission Integration:
- Integrate subsystems such as avionics, sensors, propulsion, communication systems, and weapon platforms into air platform architectures.
- Ensure compatibility between mission-relevant systems to achieve end-to-end operational capability.
- Provide technical oversight of system interfaces and interaction points during integration phases.
- Test Planning and Execution:
- Design and execute integration and system-level test plans, verifying mission-critical performance metrics.
- Conduct integration tests for functional compatibility and system reliability in simulated and real-world environments.
- Develop test scenarios to mimic mission profiles and operational challenges.
- System Validation and Analysis:
- Evaluate system functionality and performance using modeling, simulation, and post-test data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python).
- Analyze telemetry data, flight test results, and system performance metrics to identify operational deficiencies and corrective actions.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Develop detailed documentation, including integration workflows, test procedures, and performance summaries.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to program stakeholders, engineers, and leadership teams.
- Mission Assurance and Requirements Management:
- Ensure systems meet mission requirements, technical specifications, and DoD standards at every stage of testing and integration.
- Align integration and test processes with MIL-STD compliance guidelines, cybersecurity policies, and operational directives.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
- Work closely with systems engineers, hardware teams, software developers, and program managers to ensure seamless integration.
- Coordinate among teams to address technical issues, risks, and evolving mission requirements.
Qualifications
