Location: MN (responsible for MN/ND/SD/All Canada territory) Responsible for selling the company's products; primary responsibility may include finding, generating, and developing new distribution/retail partners to sell the company's products to end-users. Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within the distribution or retail sales channel. Creates awareness and demand for company products. Customers may be geographic or named accounts. The successful candidate will be strongly self-motivated and outcome-driven, with a proven track record of managing and closing a pipeline of opportunities and forecasting accurately. Excellent qualification, prioritization, organization, and focus are essential in this role. You'll own the full sales process from developing a lead to closing the deal. You'll be experienced in exceeding your quota; you'll be hungry to overachieve and be well compensated for doing so. Essential Functions
  • Responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts through business-to-business sales of Forcepoint software licensing, appliances, and services to accounts
  • Working with the Regional Director, develop and implement specific customer accounts and opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives.
  • Effectively engage sales resources: SE, Channel, Solutions Sales teams, and Executives on the development and implementation of customer account plans
  • Use the CRM system effectively, responsible for the development, management, and closure of forecasted opportunities.
  • Manage and drive revenue through complex, multiple go-to-market strategies.
  • Execute complex sales and effectively manage the sales process and activities.
  • Exceed sales quota.
  • Interface to negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • Considered highly skilled at sales techniques and demonstrates a strong understanding of company products/services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge within the area of specialization.
  • May utilize knowledge of industry/clients to recommend updates or changes to product/service offerings.
  • Responsible for selling the company's products or services, developing new accounts, and/or expanding existing accounts.
  • Completes complex sales.
  • Utilizes knowledge of product/service and industry to evaluate and recommend best solutions for clients.
  • Typically, has an established base of accounts and solid revenue/bookings responsibility.
  • Sales completed with little to no supervision.
  • Maintains an established network of contacts.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and/or existing clients.
  • A true hunter!
  • 5-8 years of sales experience

Forcepoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range and variable compensation for this role is 220,000.00 - 260,000.00 and represents the low and high end of compensation for this position. Actual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and performance.Therange listed is just one component of Forcepoint's total compensation package for employees.
