Job Description:

Ryan Companies is hiring a Real Estate Administrator to support a commercial property in Minneapolis. This role provides administrative support to real estate management operations. It also maintains and demonstrates a clear understanding of property management processes, procedures and guidelines. This position assists in a team environment and must be self-motivated to meet or exceed internal and external customer needs. This position generally supports 1-3 property managers.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Process property invoices on a regular basis for manager approval; preparation includes checking math, inserting vendor and account code information, copying and filing.

  • Process monthly rent statements and submit to tenants as required.

  • Track parking ramp, utility and supply usage amounts on a weekly/monthly basis.

  • Maintain and update Certificates of Insurance for service vendors and tenants.

  • Track and help manage delinquent rent statements in cooperation with team member(s) monthly.

  • Communicate and work with external customers such as cleaning subcontractors

  • Coordinate tenant service requests

  • Assist in implementing tenant relationship plans

  • Able to collect delinquent rent while maintaining positive tenant relationships

  • General administrative duties as required by team/department.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum two years experience in fast-paced office environment.

  • Minimum two years experience in property management is preferred.

  • Post high school business or real estate training is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Access.

  • Working knowledge of property management billing and process software is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of office processes and equipment.

  • Good verbal and written communications skills.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently within a team environment.

  • Basic accounting skills.

  • Some knowledge of property management terminology and processes is preferred.

Eligibility:

  • Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

The base rate is $27.00 per hour and may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
