Position Overview: Member Services & Collections Specialist We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic professional to join our team as a Member Services & Collections Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and has a strongexperience in collections and customer service. Key Responsibilities * Primary Contact Point: Serve as the main liaison for both inbound and outbound member calls, averaging 10-20 inbound calls and approximately 115 total calls daily. * Outbound Dialer Management: Utilize an automated dialer system to efficiently manage high call volumes and ensure timely outreach. * Member Support: Handle inbound inquiries related to payment processing, setting up payment arrangements, and general account questions with empathy and professionalism. * Phone & Administrative Balance: Spend approximately 80% of your time on phone-based interactions and 20% on administrative and operational tasks. * Retention-Focused Service: Deliver compassionate, member-centered service with a focus on understanding individual circumstances and promoting member retention. Collections Duties Include: * Uploading and managing member documents * Sending notices and communications * Reviewing accounts for additional work * Preparing accounts for repositioning * Facilitating online banking transactions Required Skills & Experience * Core Skills: Collections, customer service, financial services, consumer and banking collections * Soft Skills:Empathetic and understanding approach * Confident and experienced in collections * Strong verbal and written communication * Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills Experience Level * Intermediate: Candidates should have prior experience in collections or financial services and demonstrate a strong ability to manage member interactions with care and efficiency. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.23 - $28.84/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
