Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineer II to work under a Senior Software lead to develop new software for the Remotely Operated Tracking Radar #1 at the China Lake Range. This software products will enable the new ROTR1 hardware suite to function and support critical T&E and validation missions for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux with real-time extensions.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Computer Programs/Software Experience:

  • C++, Real-time programming, Servo Software and data filtering, Eclipse and/or Qt development environment(s), Radar, optical sensor, and servo concepts and terminology.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, or related field of study.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • A clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Design, develop, test, and deliver new software for ROTR1 radar system.

Pay: $47.96 per hour.
