Schedule: Variable 10-hour shifts between 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM Shifts Include: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM 7:45 AM - 6:15 PM 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM 8:15 AM - 6:45 PM 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM Requires: Every other weekend & holiday rotation What You'll Do: Deliver meals that meet therapeutic dietary needs with accuracy and care Collect and process patient menu selections and diet orders Adjust menus based on dietary guidelines and patient preferences Provide exceptional customer service with a compassionate, patient-first mindset Collaborate with clinical and dietary teams to ensure quality and satisfaction What You'll Bring: High school diploma or equivalent preferred 6+ months of food service experience (preferred) ServSafe certification (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to read and interpret diet orders and perform basic math Comfort using iPads and basic computer systems Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout your shift Must pass a physical exam and be drug-free Comfortable working in patient care areas and around cleaning supplies Why ChristianaCare? Join us in making a meaningful impact every day. This position has a starting rate of $18.08 per hour, regardless of prior experience. After six months of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $21.15 per hour. After one year of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $22.18 per hour. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
