Machine Operator - ALL SHIFTS

Responsibilities and Duties:

Clock in on time and be at your machine and ready to work by your designated start time.

Inform the Plant Manager of any necessary time off both paid and unpaid.

Inform your Area Manager of any tooling needs or machinery maintenance that needs to be done.

Inform the area Manager (while running the job) if you are having trouble hitting rates, so they can assist you and determine the problem

Responsible for job rates, set up times, and indirect time

Inform your Area Manager if you will complete the job you are working on ahead of time so he can have tooling and material ready for your next job.

Communicate with the Material Handler when you are ready for completed parts to be removed or if you need additional material delivered for your job.

Report any non-conforming material immediately to your Area Manager and if they are not available go to the Plant Manager.

Report any safety issues immediately to the Plant Manager.

Skills and Qualification

Mechanical skills

Able to read tape measures and measuring equipment for inspection of product

Attention to details (read routings and set up notes)

Good communication skills

Good math skills
