Job Details:
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, occasional weekend work, and overtime may be required.
1st shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, flexible hours around production needs may be required.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Performs complex mechanical repair work assignments in the discipline with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) of all site equipment, including manufacturing process & packaging equipment.
  • Maintains all maintenance workshop equipment, site programs, lockout, confined space, and tools.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing facility that produces products with allergen ingredients.
  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting techniques in a logical manner on all equipment.
  • Create written documentation of assigned PM and repair work orders.
  • Read and understand technical bulletins, manuals, instructions, and blueprints.
  • Other job duties as needed.


Requirements:
Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Possesses sound knowledge of lubrication practices.
  • Bilingual is a plus.


Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
As a Maintenance Technician working in a manufacturing plant setting, there are specific physical requirements and work environment considerations to keep in mind. Physical requirements may include the ability to stand for extended periods, walk through the plant floor, and lift or move up to 100 pounds. Additionally, good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination may be necessary for tasks such as data entry or filing. The employee must have corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
In terms of the work environment, the Maintenance Technician may be exposed to noise from machinery, varying temperatures depending on the plant's operations, and potentially hazardous materials. Therefore, familiarity with safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.
