How you'll make an impact:

The Senior Social Producer, Sports will drive the day-to-day execution of SiriusXM Sports' social strategy and bring programming, talent, and major sports moments to life across social platforms. This role will identify the stories and moments that matter and translate them into compelling, social-first content across priority sports properties. Working across major tentpole coverage, real-time publishing, and internal teams, this role will support the continued growth, reach, and relevance of SiriusXM Sports.

What you'll do:

  • Own day-to-day social strategy execution for SiriusXM Sports and its programming across NFL, NBA, MLB, NASCAR, wrestling/Busted Open, and other priority sports properties.

  • Develop and execute social content plans around major sports moments, live events, interviews, programming launches, and tentpoles.

  • Identify the strongest content, conversations, and storylines from SiriusXM sports programming and determine how to best package and distribute them for social audiences.

  • Manage publishing and content distribution across SiriusXM Sports social platforms, adapting content, copy, creative, and formats based on the platform and audience.

  • Produce and publish compelling social-first content, including short-form video, clips, graphics, and real-time posts across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms.

  • Make timely editorial decisions around breaking news, games, trades, viral moments, and broader sports conversations to ensure SiriusXM Sports is participating in the moments that matter.

  • Partner closely with Programming, Video, PR, Marketing, and other internal teams to align on priorities, develop content opportunities, and maximize key moments.

  • Lead social coverage for live events and onsite activations, including developing coverage plans, coordinating content capture, publishing in real time, and identifying opportunities with talent.

  • Work directly with hosts, producers, and programming teams to identify social-first opportunities that extend SiriusXM programming and talent beyond the audio experience.

  • Develop new social concepts, recurring franchises, and creative formats around SiriusXM talent, programming, and major sports moments.

  • Track social performance and audience behavior, using insights to inform content decisions, platform strategy, and future coverage.

  • Maintain a consistent SiriusXM Sports voice and social presence while balancing the needs and audiences of individual leagues, shows, hosts, and properties.

  • Stay deeply connected to sports culture, fan conversations, platform trends, creators, emerging formats, and changes in how audiences consume sports content.

  • Support the continued growth and evolution of SiriusXM's sports social strategy by identifying new formats, franchises, partnerships, and audience opportunities.

  • Serve as a trusted social partner to internal stakeholders, bringing strong recommendations and social expertise to programming and content conversations.

What you'll need:

  • 4+ years of experience in social media, digital content, sports media, entertainment, editorial, or a related field.

  • Deep knowledge of sports and sports culture, with strong familiarity across major leagues and properties including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NASCAR, and professional wrestling.

  • Excellent editorial judgment and the ability to quickly identify the quote, storyline, interview moment, or cultural conversation most likely to resonate with sports audiences.

  • Demonstrated experience independently managing social channels and executing content strategies for a brand, publisher, league, team, media company, or similar organization.

  • Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and emerging social platforms, including platform-specific formats and best practices.

  • Experience producing and editing short-form social video using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.

  • Excellent social copywriting skills and the ability to adapt voice, tone, and storytelling by platform and audience.

  • Experience leading social coverage around live events, breaking news, or other fast-moving editorial environments.

  • Strong understanding of social analytics and the ability to translate performance data into actionable content recommendations.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sports, shows, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with programming, talent, video, marketing, PR, and other teams.

  • Ability to operate independently, make sound editorial decisions, and take ownership of projects from planning through execution and reporting.

  • Flexibility to support major games, events, and breaking sports moments outside of traditional business hours when needed.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the annual salary for this this position to be between $67,000 and $85,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
